 Bloodsports should be Banned!
« Result #1 on May 10, 2009, 8:07am »

I say it's time that all deliberate cruel killing of animals for "sport" be banned by law. There is no excuse for causing immense pain and suffering to these creatures just for the sheer heck of it...for fun and games.

Okay, I know animals are killed for meat...but there's a difference: the animals in that situation CAN be treated humanely right up to the moment the are killed instantly. I'm not saying that's an ideal situation. There are other objections to killing for meat but what concerns me in this posting is UNNECESSARY AND DELIBERATE CRUELTY TO ANIMALS FOR FUN.

In Spain, buls are tortured to death...by being stabbed with lances and darts and then taunted by the "heroic" Matador who kills him with a sword.

In Ireland, hares (jack rabbits) are captured and forced to act as bait for savage dogs at so-called coursing events. The animals are terrorised to amuse the spectators and many are mauled to death. Foxes are hunted with packs of hounds...chased to exhaustion and then ripped to pieces, again for "fun".

Some nations or states allow cockfighting, dogfighting, badger baiting...you name it. Anything you can think of that can inflict agonising pain and suffering on an animal is deemed "sport" by some set of people out there.

Is shooting a cruel sport? It certainly is when the shot bird or animal, as often happens, is not killed by the bullet or pellets but just injured and left to die of its injuries.

And there's the question of how bloodsport fans behave towards other human beings. In his book Bad Hare Days, Irish animal protection campaigner and journalist John Fitzgerald highlights the violence and bullying to which opponents of organised cruelty to animals are subjected...they pay a high price for their compassion. In Ireland, campaigners have been been severely assaulted, fired from their jobs for being against bloodsports, and have sufered wrongful arrest at the hands of police who were leading members of hare coursing clubs.

Fitzgerald addresses brilliantly the link between the violence and cruelty of bloodsports and violence directed against human beings, and makes a powerful case for banning bloodsports both on the grounds of animal cruelty and the risk to human safety and wellbing inherent in these "recreational cruelties".

I hope that some day recreational cruelty to animals IN ALL ITS SICKENING FORMS will be outlawed worldwide. I the meantime, I urge support for the campaign groups in various countries battling for the protection of animals from "Fun Cruelty".

 Gaza and Foreign Aid
« Result #2 on Mar 8, 2009, 1:50pm »

At a time when the US economy is staggering, it continues to pour foreign aid into Gaza. http://samsonblinded.org/news/52-billion-aid-to-gaza-how-to-spend-8353 $900 million just within the last two weeks. Yet that money is used to buy rockets from Iran that are shot at Israel. Little wonder that the problems in the middle east just go on and on and on.

The following link takes you to a long list of prophecies that were issued in the mid-1990's, that have all come to pass exactly as predicted. It also provides you with a link to Yahoo's Official Archives which prove they were issued in writing, in the 1990's.

As you will see: Every detail, to include our wars with Iraq, the actors involved, and how it will end, was prophesied in writing, in the 1990's. Every aspect of which is now showing up in our evening news. It even has a link to his prophecy concerning America's Vanity.

http://www.theamericannightmare.org/n-iKKK1122_We_Better_Hope.html

The following link will take you to the prophesied food shortage, which at the top provides you with a list of 23 other such prophesied events that have come to pass.

http://www.theamericannightmare.org/n-iKKK1019_F-S.html

These next 2 links take you to pages that contain all the prophecies that were issued at the same time as the above, which have NOT YET come to pass, and are also in Yahoo's Official Archives, which prove they too were issued in writing, in the 1990's. As an American you had better hope these prophecies DO NOT come to pass.

This prophecy tells us that 10,000 Americans will be killed by a terrorist attack, but as well provides you with an index
of 14 other prophecies that have not yet come to pass.

http://www.theamericannightmare.org/n-iKKK1019_10K-K.html

Just as it was prophesied that our economy would collapse in 2008.

 I Think We Are Doomed
« Result #5 on Nov 8, 2008, 6:46am »

I think we are doomed.

I like Obama. I think it is great that a black guy is going to be president. But the honeymoon is going to be short.

Here, let me explain. He is like John Kennedy and he is like Jimmy Carter. That is a bad thing. Kennedy did not really know when and how to go to war and he got us in a mess in Vietnam. Carter was a passifist and that lead to more conflict.

Jimmy Carter was a great guy. Everyone thought that his passifism would lead to peace. Everyone was WRONG.

Everyone thought Regan was going to be a horrible president. Everyone thought his military build up would lead to war. Everyone was wrong.

Everyone thinks Obama is going to be wonderful. I think everyone is wrong. I think we are doomed.

I heard Obama discussed on a radio program where the host as well as the callers were African American and there were a few people who were excited about Obama but they did not have any good follow-up comments to some of the host's and opposition's concerns. For example, one excited supporter commented on how smart Obama is and how (magically) this means he would be a great president. He seemed to imply that this meant he could fix the economy. When asked directly what economic experience Obama had, the supporter said that he had a law degree from Harvard (wow, magic). But that is a law degree from Harvard and not any economic experience. When pressed on this, the supporter did not have any follow up comment.

I have heard it said that it would be better to have an intelligent guy in the White House rather than an average Joe.

This does not make any sense to me. The Office of the President was formed with someone in mind to fill the position. And that person was a general.

Obama does not have a general's mentality. This was clear in the debates. Obama stresses pulling out of Iraq and focusing our forces in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

While, logically and intellectually and on the surface this seems like a very intelligent move.

But it isn't. It is not what it seems. It is very poor strategy. But Obama is too confident and has too high an opinion on his own mastery of all things and his capacity to conquer all knowable subjects to see when he is wrong. We are doomed. As General George Patton said, "Never let your enemy choose the battlefield" This is what Obama is going to do. This is what Kennedy did in Vietnam. This is what Carter tried to do in the failed rescue missions in Iran.

It is like electing a damn good friendly negotiator and lawyer to come in and play war games. We are doomed.

 FREEDOM TO TERROR FIGHTERS!
« Result #6 on Oct 26, 2008, 10:09am »

FREEDOM TO TERROR FIGHTERS!

Friends!!!

We address you as citizens of a great country, asking you to help in the name of justice.

It’s been for over ten years that five Cuban patriots, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero, and Fernando Gonzalez are being held in American prisons under strict conditions.

They did not seek information hazardous to the U.S. national security. This fact was recognized by an American court.

They were introduced inside terrorist organizations in Miami. Their activity was aimed at preventing terrorist attacks on Cuba.

Friends! People of the United States have survived the horror of 9/11 2001. Over three thousand American civilians perished in the rubble of Twin Towers and in the hijacked planes. The world shuddered at the terrorists’ brutality. We were mourning your friends and relatives together with you.

Imagine that some courageous people on this planet managed to inform the White House and Pentagon of preparations for the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Would the U.S. citizens not recognize these informers as national heroes?! And if in some unfriendly country those people were declared terrorists and given life sentences, would you not require justice and release of the heroes?!!

Then why give the Cuban patriots a different treatment? Indeed, in December 2001 Federal Judge John Leonard of Miami convicted the five Cuban patriots of antiterrorist activity and sentenced them to unthinkably cruel penalties of imprisonment.

Yes, many Cuban immigrants in Miami don’t like the regime that exists in Cuba. But does this give them a right to blow up planes and ships, hotels and cultural centers in Havana? And don’t people of Cuba have the rights to try to prevent violence in their own homeland?

Friends, do you know that the procedure of judging the five Cuban patriots was conducted with the most severe disregard for the U.S. legislation?

We are absolutely sure that you will be indignant at the fact of breaking the U.S. constitution in favor of political interests. Law has to be the same for everyone!

It is not surprising that tens and hundreds of thousands of people around the world consider the court decision in Miami as a shame of the U.S. justice.

Do you know that 340 Committees of struggle for release of the Cuban heroes exist in 109 countries in the world?

Do you know that in May 2005, a UN human rights commission’s working group on arbitrary arrests made of five independent law experts from different countries (excluding Cuba) rendered the arrests arbitrary and addressed the U.S. government with demand to release the patriots?

It is conventional that the American civil society is very active and reacts passionately to any injustice made in the World.

We are convinced that the arbitrariness of the court with regard to the five Cuban heroes became possible in your country, only because the details of this dirtiest case were hidden from the American public.

Friends! Ask your government, what Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero, and Fernando Gonzalez are being held in American prisons for. Why anti-terror heroes were rendered terrorists???

Ask for a fair review of the sentence.

Together we can achieve the justice!

Freedom to the five Cuban heroes!

A fair word without terror and violence!

In the duration of one haircut (6 weeks) a lot of things has happened. We're in for an even more interesting elections ... or something potentially dangerous for all.

That's such a great way of getting involved with politics --- and delivering a message. We need inspiration like this while the country goes crazy.

 Inspiring Song-"We're Not Going Down"
« Result #9 on Oct 8, 2008, 6:04pm »

Hi guys, my name is Freddy Wexler. I'm an independent musician. I've written a song and created a music video as a call to action for young people everywhere, regardless of their backgrounds or political beliefs, to get out and make their voices heard.

No matter where you fall on the political spectrum or what your views on foreign policy, you can find a lot of evil and misery in the world today. My song is not about pointing fingers at America, or at a particular political party or world leader. If there's a villain in the song, it's apathy, and indifference, and blind acceptance of the status quo.

Hope you guys like it!

Clinton was a joke. He totally made the Oval Office and the Presidency the butt end of jokes world wide. And because you are married to a electrician, does not make you one. Obama is a very unstable young man with a bunch of baggage we do not need. If most politicians would use some small amount of honesty, half of the legislation that is passed, wouldn't be. It's all about the power.
